EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR helps your brain reprocess difficult experiences in a safe and guided way. Using gentle bilateral stimulation, (such as eye movements or tapping) your brain is able to release "stuck" emotional responses that are connected to emotional trauma. Over time, these memories lose their power and the truth begins to take root.

Cost
PER SESSION
Individual, 50 minute sessions are $125.
Debit/credit cards or cash are accepted, no checks, please. Because I strive to provide quality care without strict stipulations, from a Christian perspective, I do not accept insurance. This allows more freedom and for the sessions to be client-directed. I can provide you with a superbill to be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Rooted Christian Counseling believes that anyone seeking to better their mental health should have access to these services. If payment becomes a barrier, steps can be taken to work with you.
